Be realistic. Photos online are often not accurate depictions of true hair color or tone due to outside factors such as, the condition of the hair, wigs and extensions, lighting, photoshop and ai filters.
Hair is a science. Unless you bring me a photo of hair I did there is no way to assure your hair will look exactly like the photo.
The best way for me to give you your desired look, is for you to send me photos and express to me your likes and dislikes. This way I can formulate a plan based on the conditions of your hair and your lifestyle. This formula will be unique to you and not a method or formula copied from an outside source.
After your service: Wait a minimum of 48 hours before your first shampoo. This will give the color/toner time to settle.

Purple Shampoo
Once the toner starts to fade out of your hair, the hair will start to look yellow and/or brassy. This is normal. You can start to use a purple shampoo to help neutralize these unwanted tones. You shouldn’t add purple shampoo into your wash day until you notice your toner fade. Skip this step until then. Think of purple shampoo as color, you’re NOT using it to clean your scalp, your goal is to neutralize unwanted yellow and/or brassy tones. Apply purple shampoo to hair and leave for 3-8minutes depending on desired result. If the purple shampoo doesn’t achieve the tone you’re looking for you can make an appointment for a toner.
*If washing hair more than 1x a week, only use purple shampoo 1x a week as it can be drying to your hair.
Mask - Replace your conditioner with a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment.
*If washing hair more than 1x a week you can substitute conditioner depending on hairs health
I DO NOT recommend heat tools to style curly hair, when your hair has been lightened. Every time you apply heat to your hair above 300 degrees. You change the structure of the curl and the hair looses elasticity. Often never returning to its natural state. Once the bonds have been damaged or broken they can not be repaired and the hair begins to break. To minimize damage only use heat after properly washing and conditioning the hair. Always use heat protector and Don’t touch up or re-straighten your hair throughout the week.
6. Oil your ends you can do this wet or dry. I recommend on dry hair before bed so it absorbs before you wake up. This can be done 2x a week or anytime your ends feel dry.
Things to know this summer!
Chlorine can fade hair color and toner. It can also give your hair a green-ish tint. To help prevent this, rinse your hair with clean water, and apply a little bit of conditioner or oil before getting into a pool. To be extra safe wear a swim cap.
Salt water is ok however in combination with the sun’s UV rays; your hair color and toner can fade. To help prevent this wear a hat if you’re in the sun for long periods of time.
What I recommend
To maintain all over blond / color - 5-6 weeks ( 1/2 inch of re growth. If you come too soon we risk over lap and breaking. If you come too late this is considered a color correction and the process to remove the band becomes more extensive.
Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to change at your next appointment! My goal is to give you the hair of your dreams.
